Chapter 59. Town Lands, Shorefronts and Land Under Water

§ 59-1. Annexation effected.

The Town of North Hempstead, the Incorporated Village of Great Neck Estates and the Incorporated Village of Kensington have heretofore conducted the process described and provided in Article 17 of the General Municipal Law for the annexation of property from one municipality to another. Said process has culminated in the adoption of resolutions, orders and findings by each of said municipalities approving the proposed annexation and finding the same to be in the public interest. In order to effectuate that annexation and to comply with the requirements of General Municipal Law § 714, this local law is adopted.
