The Town Board, recognizing the Executive Law of the State of New York, Article 18, New York State Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code Act, Title 19 NYCRR Part 444, Uniform Code: Minimum Standards for Administration and Enforcement, finds that public health, safety, welfare and the good order and governance of the town will be enhanced by the adoption of Title 9-Executive (Volume B), Subtitle S - DHCR, Chapter 1 - Uniform Code, Subchapters A through N, as the applicable Building Code of the Town of North Hempstead.
