§ 70-98.30. Height - SRC.

  • A. 
    Congregate Care Residential Communities and mid-rise building may not exceed either six stories or 65 feet as measured from the average adjoining grade to the eave of the roof. The peak of the roof shall be no greater than 15 feet above the eave. A cupola for an elevator or mechanical equipment enclosure covering not more than 10% of the horizontal roof area may extend a maximum of 26 feet above the eave.
    B. 
    No other building used exclusively for residence purposes, whether attached or detached, shall exceed either three stories or 36 feet in height as defined in § 70-98.11.
    C. 
    No building accessory to any residential use shall exceed 20 feet in height.
