§ 70-85. Required yards and setbacks.

A.No building or structure shall be closer than 20 feet to a street or property line.B.Except as hereinafter provided, the minimum open space between the exterior walls of buildings used for residence purposes shall be as follows:(1)Where the wall or walls contain no windows to habitable rooms, the minimum open space shall be 20 feet.(2)Where the wall or walls contain windows to habitable rooms, the minimum open space for one-story buildings shall be 15 feet; for two-story buildings, 20 feet; for three-story buildings, 30 feet.[Amended 6-29-2010 by L.L. No. 7-2010](3)Where row dwellings are erected at right angles to each other and with no overlapping of exterior walls, the minimum distance between any two buildings shall be 15 feet.
