§ 41B-7. Regulation of use.

  • During the hours of 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. exclusive of Sundays and holidays, the following regulations shall apply to all parking meter areas:
    A. 
    All vehicles may be parked within all parking meter areas only within a parking space in front or alongside of which a parking meter is located.
    B. 
    When any vehicle shall be parked in any of said areas, the operator or driver of which desires to park for a period not in excess of two (2) hours, he shall, upon entering the parking space, immediately deposit a twenty-five-cent coin of the United States in the parking meter in front or alongside of said vehicle, and said parking space may then be used for such vehicle for said period not to exceed one (1) hour.
    C. 
    If any vehicle shall remain parked in any such parking areas within the time limits, as above described, without a proper coin or coins being deposited as aforesaid, such vehicle shall be considered as parked overtime and beyond the time fixed by this ordinance, and the operator or driver thereof shall be deemed guilty of a violation of this ordinance and shall be punishable as hereinafter set forth.
    D. 
    There shall be no parking in any of the parking meter areas by any vehicle between the hours of 3:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.
