§ 2-70. Final inspections; standards.

A.
Final inspections. No electrical wiring and equipment, apparatus or fixtures shall be placed in use until an application has been filed and a final certificate of compliance has been obtained from an inspection agency certified and approved by the Examining Board of Electricians pursuant to this article. The costs of inspection shall be borne by the property owner or electrician requesting the same, and not by the Town of North Hempstead.

B.
Standards. Electrical wiring, equipment, apparatus, fixtures and appliances installed, altered or removed pursuant to this article shall be in strict conformity with the provisions thereof, the National Electrical Code and the statutes of the State of New York, as well as approved methods of construction for safety to life and property.
